Frequently asked questions

No. The kit includes a Tasso device, which attaches to your upper arm and collects a small blood sample using gentle suction. Most people find it virtually painless, and the whole process takes around five minutes.

Once your sample reaches our UK laboratory, results are typically ready within a few working days. You'll receive them digitally, grouped by health area so they're straightforward to read. We recommend posting your sample on a weekday morning for the quickest turnaround.

Yes — the markers included are relevant across a wide range of life stages, from your twenties through to perimenopause and beyond. FSH and Oestradiol in particular can be useful reference points at different stages, and having a baseline picture of your hormone levels over time can be genuinely informative.

It can give you a useful snapshot of key hormone markers including FSH, Oestradiol and Prolactin, which are commonly looked at in the context of hormonal changes. This is a wellness test rather than a clinical assessment, so if your results raise any questions we'd always recommend discussing them with your GP.

Your sample is analysed by a certified UK laboratory using the same methods used in clinical settings. The Tasso collection device is designed to produce reliable, high-quality samples without the need for a venous blood draw.

Yes, though hormonal contraception and HRT can influence certain markers — particularly Oestradiol, FSH and SHBG. Your results will still be informative, but it's worth bearing this in mind when reviewing them. If you're on prescribed medication, we'd recommend speaking to your GP before making any changes based on your results.
